after this session, i decided i want a 'fro. how awesome is this girl's hair?!

i'm pleased to present beautiful elettra, who bore the cold wind with me at the chelsea highline a few weeks ago for a portrait session (i've got a serious backlog of posts--here's to keeping current!). one of the many reasons i love new york is for all of the amazing backdrops it offers. we really got some cool lighting, too.

fun fact: elettra is graduating from columbia in the next few weeks. rock it, girl.

i went home to see my pops a few weekends ago. he was camera shy at first, but i think it was all a front. look at him cheesin'. he loves it!

dad's in taiwan this week, so this post is dedicated to his safe return. love you dad!

I shot a Nigerian wedding last weekend with the talented Daniel Krieger . It was such a festive, energetic celebration. I think my favorite part was the traditional Nigerian dress, which even the bride changed into towards the end of the night. The fabrics! The colors! I wanted one.

Ugo and Philip are a gorgeous couple. Here's to many healthy, happy years. Congratulations!
